nest of swifts

Swifts have a nest in the eaves of the house next door, and a pair of young swifts have been cheeping up a storm all morning. There's not much room in there, so they get fed from mid-air by a hovering parents.

[Sorry this blip isn't more of a close-up, but once the optical zoom on my camera goes past 5x the picture quality drops dramatically.]
