Summer Fun

Mum and Dad came through this morning to get my gate fixed, then lunch at Simpsons Garden Centre. They've got a new aquatics section there that is better than some aquariums I've paid to get into. And yes, I found Nemo.

In the afternoon, my first game of rounders for a very long time was great fun, although I'm sill rubbish with a baseball bat! I joined Amy and some of the guys from her work for an enjoyable day she had organised.

Two innings for each team, 30 runs each, and a very sporting draw (with some feisty fighting talk mixed in).

Then back to a BBQ and some drinks, sitting out in the sun until after 10, and the midges started to bite. Debbie and Kenny hosting and cooking up a great BBQ.
