Perfect day to reminisce and to be nursing a sore throat whilst sorting calendar photos (thumbnails in extra). It poured down all day.

I usually sell about 160 calendars for the charity, www.rokpa.org , which I worked with 20 years ago in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. This year I have included a photo of « my girls » 50 orphans aged 9-21. They will now be between 30 - 40 years old and I wonder what they are doing. The Chinese authorities did not allow me to keep in touch with the school and, shortly after my return home, NGOs were no longer welcome to work in China. I can only hope that the girls are happy and healthy.
