The 15th year of the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival opens tonight.  But this picture has nothing to do with that.

This is the season of breakdowns here.  Today the washing machine dumped a load of water on the floor, mid-cycle.  It gave up after 19 years.  Deb let me finish the load in her washer.  A new washer and dryer were purchased online through Costco, sight unseen, on sale, to be delivered and installed on Friday, with an extended warranty at no charge.  That's a first.  It was a much easier problem to solve than those in the path of Hurricane Helene who lost everything.
