In Akureyri Botanic Garden

Book club meeting in the afternoon at LYST in Lystigarðurinn / The Akureyri Botanic Garden.  Great coffee and chat with my friends, but cake very dry and disappointing (not for the first time unfortunately, but they do excellent food at lunchtime and the sourdough bread with various toppings is delicious.  I guess cakes are not their forte, so I've got to suppress my sweet tooth when visiting this lovely place). 

For the last 13 years my photography club ÁLFkonur have had an annually changing photo exhibition at the outdoor area and restaurant in Lystigarðurinn.
