The Hazards of Caching

It's been a roller coaster of a day today. I was rudely woken by an earthquake this morning. After faffing about wondering if I should stay home I eventually decided to head to the Wairarapa for a bit of sunshine, a walk and some geocaching. I reached the heady heights of 600 today! This photo isn't of the 600th, but I quite like this spider which was guarding number 599. She got quite angry and raised her front legs at me.

After a lovely walk I headed home, pulled into the garage and stopped in time for the first aftershock of the 6.5 earthquake. I must have been driving during the big one. I entered the house with some trepidation but apart from some crooked pictures, a nervous cat and a few things off the shelves in the pantry all was ok. Not enjoying the aftershocks this evening and doubt I will sleep much!
