Doune Ponds

Taken for a wee walk to Doune Ponds with John and a hot flask & a munch.

We saw 2 red squirrels - one high up tree wiggling its tail and the other further along the path was in the undergrowth, popped up on a fallen branch then ran along ground hopping over things, ran across path in front of John & ran up a tree.

Sat at picnic spot for cuppa munch watched swans, ducks, coots, moorhen, gull & a red kite circling the sky above the trees.

Heard wee birds in the trees along walk.

Blip across the big pond from viewing platform. Extra of duck colours. A sculpture bench that we passed on walk.

Back to house for homemade soup & fresh olive bread.

Currently sitting in conservatory enjoying the sunshine, warmer here now, was a bit frosty earlier.
