Top of Vancouver

We got up on our last day(1/10) to drizzly rain which is ok as it made it a little bit easier to leave Canada. After sorting out packing we headed to The Top of Vancouver restaurant for lunch. A 360 revolving tower with great views of the city. Having enjoyed excellent seafood throughout our stay in Canada and Alaska we opted for lobster, mussels, tuna and scampi…… delicious.
It was a great end to our stay here as we now knew the city well and could spot all the sites we had visited as the restaurant did its 55 minute rotation. Then to get our taxi to the airport;
I’m adding this as we head home from Heathrow.
So it’s been an amazing holiday, a perfect celebration of 40 years and a promise of more adventures in the future.
