Step 1. Pick the blackcurrants as they ripen
Step 2. Buy lots of sugar
Step 3. Collect jars over a period of months
Step 4. Take the whole lot to mother-in-law's home
Step 5. Go and get the jam and take it back to your own home
Step 6. Give her a pot or two for her trouble
