Inner peace at Inner Farne
Cuthbert of Lindisfarne was a saint of the early Northumbrian church in the Celtic tradition. He was a monk, bishop and hermit associated with the monasteries of Melrose and Lindisfarne in the Kingdom of Northumbria.
After much travelling and spreading the word he became a hermit and moved to Inner Farne - a small island off Lindisfarne. After his death on 20 March 687, Cuthbert was buried at Lindisfarne monastery.
Inner Farne in the middle of this photo. The sky was pretty dramatic and being honest, was the thing that attracted me.
