Holne Bridge

The day's been a bit more overcast but I went out to Holne Bridge in the afternoon. It's a bit early for autumn colour in the lovely trees along the banks of the River Dart.

It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge hosted this week by steveng and the theme is Historical/Part of Story. Holne Bridge was rebuilt in 1413 of local granite and is Grade 2 listed. The River Dart rushes through this part and is much enjoyed by folks with kayaks. That's just part of the story which continues as it goes through Totnes, past Agatha Christies former home at Greenway and out to the sea at Dartmouth.

Have I covered all the bases? I think so.
