Museum Courtyard

The cobbled courtyard of the Scottish Fisheries Museum in Anstruther where I often go for coffee on a Wednesday. The Museum is housed in a collection of historic buildings dating from the 16th to 19th centuries. The courtyard itself has been associated with fishing since at least the 14th century. The main building in the photo was built around 1850 incorporating some stonework from a chapel on the same site built 300 years earlier. Thanks to Steveng for hosting Wide Wednesday on the theme Historical/Part of Story.
