Orgiva nature loop
After the excitement of doing the laundry and hanging it out (strangely, it does make doing the washing fun!), we walked a loop down to the bridge and up through the little lanes to Orgiva, stopping to spot wildlife on the way. We found a cafe on the bustling and noisy main street for a bite to eat and a cafe on the, oddly, much quieter plaza higher up.
We then found a loop on the other side to circuit back to the campsite. We spotted a good few things… booted eagle, swallowtail butterflies, hummingbird hawk moth, Egyptian grasshopper and a copper damselfly. Pomegranates ripening on trees; wide, old olive trees; and a wildfire being managed by helicopter water bombs also kept our interest.
Rest of the day? Chill!
The wind has picked up with force so we’ll see what tomorrow brings for activities. One day at a time!
Awesome sunset!
