Variety!!

I woke this morning to see two vans and a collection of groundwork chaps on the road outside. They were trying to get the covers off the drains that were overflowing recently. 

They were still messing about by the time I was up, showered, and dressed. I went out to investigate just in time to see the contents of the blocked drain. Someone up the road has been putting non disposable wipes into the loo. 

We had an appointment with Amber for her routine 6 monthly check with the veterinary nurse. It all went well, but she wasn’t impressed with the introduction of a new toothbrush and paste. 

The rain kicked off again by the afternoon and I noticed that the windscreen wiper on the passenger side wasn’t very efficient. On checking I realised that it was beginning to disintegrate !!!

I found a garage that will order a set for us and fit them when they arrive.

R is due to fly home overnight.
