Usually when I decide we need a guided tour I book something small or semi private, today was not that. We found ourselves following Antonio and his flag around the “historic” (his favourite word) sites of Granada, and then the lovely Alba* gave us Uhura earpieces so that she could tell us everything we needed to know about The Alhambra.
It was fascinating and beautiful but, I do wish there hadn’t been quite so many Chinese & Japanese dressed up for a photoshoot blocking every frame for a tiktok/insta/whatever shot, and that I’d thought a bit more about who to tour with.
That said, Alhambra is stunning (Granada less so, although the churros… OMG)
