Autumn Means Fungi

Light showers on and off all day but managed to find some tiny fungi under the trees at the far end of the garden in one brief sunny patch. This was a bit of a test: to see if the tiny tripod would hold the Z6ii plus macro lens steady - it did - and to try out the focus shift function on the camera under field conditions. The latter worked, but it was definitely trial and error to get the numbers of images and the distance between them correct. The camera doesn't stack them automatically - this was done on the pc this evening. The software produces two versions - this one's more accurate but seemed a bit harsh (I did fiddle with it in Lightroom afterwards) while the other has a better colour but needs careful retouching, which I haven't done so far (& maybe it's not worth it!)
