Settling in

Day 5 for Henry in his new home. I'm amazed at how laid-back this fellow is- he seems not bothered by anything, as long as we are close.
Microchipping and first vaccination completed after a brief, uneventful car ride to the vets.
Hes' settled in and learns fast. No interest in outdoors whatsoever, which is convenient at this stage.
Feeding rules & routine now up and running (NO snacks!).
Bedtime was a bit more of a problem. After we fed him his supper & went to bed the poor boy cried piteously outside our door for an hour (I felt SO mean!) Things are OK now, hes' got the message that light out is sleep time.
