The Birthday That Time Forgot

Poor Valerie. What a lousy birthday. Could it be something to do with it being her thirteenth?

Valerie had to leave home at 0615 to attend a school athletics club event. She was expecting to be home around 1830 but there was a train crash on the J.R. line and she didn't get back until 2000. Parents and little brother were nervous wrecks but incredibly relieved when our little treasure finally came home. Since today has been such a stinker for her, we're going to give her a make-up birthday tomorrow. It'll be a very happy unbirthday for her.
