Skiddaw

We did a very pleasant walk this afternoon in the warm sunshine.

We followed the river Derwent as it left Bassenthwaite Lake on it's way to Cockermouth then on to the sea.

On our way back to the car we passed Armathwaite Hall, from where I took this view of Skiddaw and Ullock Pike.
