Fuchsia
It's been a glorious autumn day. M and I went to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre at Cley this morning for a coffee and to have a chat with P who is exhibiting his photos in the art gallery there. There are still a great many visitors here enjoying the lovely weather.
After a six monthly check-up at the dentist (which happily went well), I spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden. All the rain we've had has made the grass grow, so I mowed the two small lawns. I spent the rest of the time gathering up fallen leaves. We only have a few small trees in our garden but our two neighbours at the back of our garden have large trees which are planted right up against our back fence. Unfortunately they have just been left to grow and they have really got way to big for the size of their respective gardens. They have large spreading branches which mostly grow over our side of the fence as they reach for the sunshine. Consequently, we get the majority of the blossom, seeds and leaves in our garden. The only upside is that they do make the garden more private, although as we are all bungalows that's not really an issue.
This is one of the pretty fuchsia blooms that is still providing some colour in the garden.
