Dante sculpture

I met up with blipper, uniqueandlovely in Midhurst today and we found the new bronze Dante sculpture that Philip Jackson has gifted to the people of Midhurst.
Dante (born in Florence 1265) as a poet, writer and philosopher best known for the Divine Comedy, one of the greatest poems of the middle ages.
The sculpture depicts Dante reflecting on the open book showing three small figures from the story.  It is most impressive.
