Shortlist

I'm always getting stuff from the library, and I buy plenty of used paperbacks from Oxfam Books regularly too, but I don't often buy new books, not really.

Except I was reading about one last night that caught my attention, and duly popped into the newly-relocated Edinburgh Bookshop to grab a copy whilst out and about at work today. It's a book which is (taken straight from The Guardian's website) - 

"...narrated by a man trying to write a memoir in a cafe who is distracted by a digital entrepreneur talking loudly on the phone at a nearby table"

I'm looking forward to getting to grips with it, once the current backlog is cleared that is!
