Fulpmes to Innsbruck tram

The weather was bad today with lots of low cloud, so we took the bus to Fulpmes and then the tram down the valley to Innsbruck. It’s a delightful run and it was good to be back in Innsbruck which we last visited in 2000 just before lockdown. We had a nice lunch there and took the tram back up the valley. Unfortunately the bus connections back to our hotel from Fulpmes were completely screwed and we ended up walking a good part of the way home in pouring rain feeling increasingly cold and uncomfortable. We won’t be rushing back to Fulpmes!
