Well we had to give this figure a name and for no particular reason it is Roger and he gets moved about the house from time to time. Currently you can find him under the shade of an Anthurium plant in a corner of the living room.

I worked this morning until 2.30 pm and Jayne was at home where she oversaw (no pun intended) the tree surgeon and his crew as they cut down the tree in the front garden which had lost a huge branch overnight on Sunday. It was diseased and potentially a danger, such a shame.

Jayne is off to choir in Shipston this evening and I'm tempted to light the fire and curl up on the sofa with a book and some background music whilst she's out. Hmmm....
