Cathedral Of The Forest

By 10am SilverImages and myself were at our favourite Cafe in Ross on Wye (Herefordshire, UK) to have a cooked breakfast before setting off for some photography.

First stop was All Saints Church (1200AD) in Staunton, Near Coleford, Gloucestershire (see extra).  Next on the list was another church of the same dedication a couple of miles away,  All Saints Church (1200AD) in Newland near Coleford, Forest of Dean. This is known as The Cathedral of The Forest and one I've visited a lot over the years. It's in a beautiful location with Alms Houses to one side which were being externally renovated. We chatted to a lovely lady owner of one of them before a short drive into Coleford town centre for a coffee and cake stop!

Getting home about 3,30pm, the sun was out and time to cut the grass. I wonder if it'll be the last this year - I doubt I'll be so lucky!
