Erigeron

In the garden is still a delight and I’ve given it a Solarising filter for Abstract Thursday.  Thanks, as ever, Ingeborg for hosting.

We were supposed to be meeting our good friends H&S at our favourite local hostelry for lunch today to celebrate both H’s and Mr HB’s  recent Birthdays but which I had to cancel yesterday as S is suffering from a bad cold.  Just as well, as on this another lovely sunny and warm day Mr HB woke up with a sore throat, nasty cough and a leaky nose, he spent the morning in bed.  I haven’t felt too chipper myself but managed to keep calm and carry on – there will be lots of administering duties to perform!! 
 
We’ve re-arranged our lunch for this Sunday hoping everyone is fit and well enough.  Mr HB and I have our flu jabs booked for Saturday – ‘Shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted’, comes to mind!
