This fluffy great tit sat on the edge of the birds’ water bowl for some time this afternoon, looking lovely and just begging to be photographed, so I obliged.

Otherwise, it’s been a bit of frustrating day, with the morning spent trying to liaise with our GP to sort out a prescription which the pharmacist cannot obtain in the correct dosage, and the afternoon spent chasing up a new debit card which was issued to me after there were some suspicious attempted transactions on it, which I confirmed to the bank weren’t mine. Two and a half weeks later, the new card still hasn’t arrived, so that one has also been cancelled and yet another one is being issued. 

Fortunately the middle of the day made up for those frustrations because our middle son and his wife came for an impromptu and very enjoyable lunch.
