Gondola

The Eiger Express Cable Car from Grindelwald to Eigergletscher is a splendid engineering achievement, and affords the passengers who travel on it some magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

I was hugely impressed by it and very happy to be able to see the Eiger at such close quarters.

This view of the gondolas on the tricable system gives a nice sense of scale and surroundings, and some atmospheric cloud to enhance the scene.

Tomorrow will be my last backblip from Switzerland as I feel I should start taking photos again..
