The accidental finding

Decay

...I find it beautiful. Like the weather today. I worked from my desk in the morning, then when Steve went out in the afternoon, I moved my laptop downstairs so I could get some sunshine while I made my calls and write emails.

I have to admit I was tired, and clock watching. Closed down my machines at exactly 5pm, went for a little stride on my striding machine (because I sit down all day!) then wrote a card to my Mum. She has dementia, so I only tell her pleasant things. It's hard when there's no real news.... I walked round the block (9 mins)  and posted the letter. Walking back up the street where I live was hard work: it's on a slope. Had to focus on breathing.

Got back home and wanted to do some more of my latest jigsaw. However, my body had other ideas, so I took myself off to bed. It was 6pm and still sunny. Next thing I knew, it was past 7 and Steve was talking to me. I was so sleepy, all I could do was mumble. He left me, and I slept another two hours.

Tomorrow is a free day. Thank goodness! Clearly CoVid recovery is going to take a long time.
