Not this time

Just back from Peebles! 
This was a long day. I managed to leave the office a little earlier to get home to get changed into my glad rags! We then headed off to the Peebles Hydro for dinner and then South of Scotland Thistle Awards. This annual awards ceremony is celebrating the regional visitor economy. With me being on the board of Upland I represented our short listed Spring Fling open studios event. Unfortunately we didn't win, though the fantastic Wigtown Book Festival did - Congratulations !!!
It was a very good event, with lovely food and entertainment and a good catch up with the who's who of the tourism sector.
We will try again next year.
