Flower of Scotland.

I went for a quick walk in the woods near to where I live. It had the most spectacular bed of thistles- almost as if someone had cultivated it.

There has been a lot of work done in this area over the last few years by both volunteers and paid individuals and it has gone from being an overcrowded self seeded woodland to a properly managed wildlife and woodland area.
