Copenhagen

Off for a long weekend in Copenhagen. Left Manchester in glorious sunshine and found the same in Copenhagen. First impressions are that the people are incredibly friendly and nice. I can’t think that I’ve ever seen a row of smiling and chatty passport control officers before! It wasn’t high on my list of places to visit, my travelling companion was keener than me, but I’m pleasantly surprised. We had a good walk around the city, and lots of lovely buildings and areas to explore. A friend had been here a few days ago and warned that despite the weather forecast it feels much colder so advised me to bring warm clothes. I wore my biggest coat and am way too hot!
