Not a bull
Today is the first day of our local Feria, where the bulls are run through the streets and then dash off to the arena to fight some Spanish blokes in funny trousers and capes.
Last year I had a bit of a hiccup with my camera settings and got lots of blurrily atmospheric shots. This year we went one better and got there an hour and a half late. Not quite sure how - we'll have another go on Sunday when the whole animal cruelty treat is repeated.
Having missed the main event, we indulged in few beers and bit of people watching then headed home to clear more bugs out of the pool. This fat fella was lurking in one of the skimmers. I thought there was maybe a chance for him, and moved him somewhere dry to see if he recuperated before some big bird gobbled him up. All would have been well if Mr B hadn't been hoovering the pool, stamping around in his big boots.... <squelch>
More lovely wine sampling tonight, seeing off a few of the wines we bought on our epic wine tasting morning a few weeks ago. We also tried a bottle of Arse (it's a Fitou). Easy on the nose but a bit coarse for my taste.
