Edge of the World

Not sure what sort of banksia this is but I thought it might hit the mark for Flower Friday (thanks BikerBear). I think this is the first time I’ve done every challenge in a week, and that while on holiday.

Location is Rebecca Lagoon in the heart of the Tarquine wilderness in Tasmania. check out the extra if you can, the main destination of the day, a place called The Edge of the World


The early colonists certainly felt they’d reached the edge of the world once they disembarked - with all the strange foliage and fauna - at least according to the letters we read yesterday at Highfield House
