Past Future

Late blip. Spotted this on the bookshelf from1980. Six more years and we will be there. 
Will need to have a quick scan through it and see if anything was at all close to the mark now. Probably not, apart from people still fighting wars and the rest of us head down in a smartphone!
P.s. Magnus Pike was a slightly eccentric scientist, TV personality for a bit. He died in 1992.
