Sweet Peas

I'm still cutting a few blooms most days. Only one pot of plants is left now and the stems look pretty tired but the flowers are doing their best. It's been so dry recently of course. 

It was good to get home yesterday. The journey was trouble free and my friend who stays in Wales had a much better trip back than she experienced on Monday. The three of us really enjoyed our break. I was taken with Whitchurch and enjoyed pottering about the town. I'd have liked a bit more countryside so maybe another trip should be planned. Though a town with a canal is always a win as far as I'm concerned. 

But really there's nowhere like home.
