Canal Foot

We ve had so many weeks and days of grey wet weather I thought Flavia13 and I would never get together. 

So I couldn't believe how lucky we were today. A glorious sunny day! 

Flavia13 suggested meeting at Canal Foot but I was unsure of parking. So we met at Booths, left my car and she drove us up. There were quite a few cars and the designated places were full but she was able to park carefully against a wall. 
No doubt a lot of people decided to take advantage of the lovely weather. It must be even busier at the weekend.

We strolled along the path alongside and may have followed it along the grass but the tide was coming in quickly so we walked along the pier . There was quite a bit of activity as they are working on the railway bridge and 5 pontoons were sailing across to bring necessary materials.

We called into The Bay Horse for crab sandwiches ( delicious). It was busy but the service was quick.
