Yesterday afternoon, Mr W noticed that our car’s passenger side headlight wasn’t working so I popped round to my local garage today, to get the bulb changed (it involves removing the entire light cluster, which I can’t do because it usually requires a technical thump to get the thing out).
I took cake, because they never charge me anything for a replacement bulb & fitting.
“Main beam or high beam gone?”, asked John.
“Both”, I replied.
“Don’t like the sound of that”, said John…
He tried a new bulb, just in case, but it appears to be an electrical fault.
The car’s booked in for Thursday afternoon, their first available slot.
We go away for the weekend on Friday morning.
