Pansies

Or maybe violas as they are smaller than pansies. I am amazed at how they continue to blossom throughout the summer and into autumn. They are reseeding themselves into surrounding pots on my patio.
Today I am recovering from yesterday’s eyelid surgery. My upper eyelids were over growing (overlapping) my eyelashes, narrowing my field of vision.
So, I am doing well, but have swelling and red-purple-black eyes. This will last for a couple of weeks. My sunglasses luckily conceal the bruising.
