Just a temporary stay..?

Within the shadow of Ripon Cathedral are 11 mature trees including a veteran beech tree estimated to be about 200 years old, all are in danger of being felled to make way for a development.

It appears a choir school and cafe is important to the cathedral. 

I read under much local and national protest the application has temporarily been put on hold but not withdrawn, so beware shadowy figures with chainsaws appearing at the dead of night...
