Perennial Cornflowers

I'm so impressed with these perennial cornflowers. When the snow melts in spring there's a pile of dead, slightly squishy leaves that very quickly turn into new growth and this is one of the first flowers to appear. All through the summer they repeat this process and now, as autumn gets going and the first hard frosts have been and gone they are still flowering. In fact there are still buds waiting for their chance to flower.
We shall see how long they go on flowering...
