The weather forecast was for some sunshine this morning and getting cloudy later.

It was right :) I was at White Moss just after 9.30 and walked through the wood and around the shore of Grasmere. Then down the Red Bank road into the village. Not as much blue sky as I expected but a warm and pleasant morning for a walk.

The first extra might have made it to the main spot if it wasn’t for the swan below Helm Crag. I don’t have the software to remove it.
The second extra is the row of cottages opposite the Gingerbread Shop. The mesh covering has now been taken off the scaffolding and the painters are at work. It’s looking rather yellow but I’m sure it will fade as it dries.
