Happy Moments

Left Luggage

I processed this via the Photoroom app, as the actual view behind the sculpture is pretty nondescript.

It’s by the beach in Redcar and was created by Lewis Robinson, celebrating the filming of ‘Atonement’. It was unveiled in 2007, although the filming was done summer of the previous year. Atonement - for those that don’t know (and I didn’t) - is a romantic war tragedy film based on Ian McEwans novel of the same name.

I quite like the back view, so I’ve put that in extras too, with the beach behind. It’s a painted steel collection of a large trunk, file cabinets, directors chair, pile of books, helmet, sitting bird and a rifle.

Anyway, the bank we went to in Redcar today was shut as the staff were helping out other colleagues, or so the sign said, so we will go back Monday.
