A Poppy For Poppy

My friend saw a recent painting I had done of a poppy and asked if she could have it for her granddaughter, Poppy. Naturally I said yes. My only concern was it was a rather rushed tutorial, and that bothered me. 

So I decided to create this instead. It is from my own photo and done  in pastel pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat.

I am much happier with the result and hope she will like it too. She can still, have the original watercolour if she wishes (I put it in the extras)
