Market day

Had a bit of a restless night with my knee aching.  Hound didn't want an early morning walk which was just as well as walking is painful.  I can do it but it hurts.

After breakfast decided to see if I could cycle to the market.  I could cycle slowly and apart from the knee feeling stiff was fine.  It was a little problematic straightening my leg to dismount.  But I managed.  

Headed to Boots first to buy ibuprofen and found an ibuprofen topical spray.  

The market place was radiant this morning.  Extra - the sun on Great St Mary's, the university church bestowed another hue to the stone.
Back home shopping done applied the spray to my knee.  It started to work fairly swiftly.  Took hound for his walk with a bit of hobbling from stiffness.  I have to say dear Kyro was very well behaved and didn't lunge or pull.  

I was tired out by the time we completed a 35 minute walk.  The only walk today.

The spray is pretty good.  Will apply before bed and hopefully get a decent rest.

Depressing world news still.  I'm appalled at our government's participation.
