Mark's Bridge

After an intensive morning looking at the new features of our volunteer digital registration system it was a welcome relief to get out into the rain and walk up into Grizedale Forest for a picnic lunch.
The destination was Mark's Bridge, a project built entirely by Volunteer hands over the covid years, under the leadership of Mark B. Mark was a man, full of vitality, who inspired everyone who worked with him. This was his last project as he sadly succumbed to motor neurone disease last year. It was good to sit on there and enjoy the legacy of both the structure and the conversation of the volunteers he had worked with for so long.
