Pair of Pears........

.............growing in a neighbours garden - I helped her a few weeks ago when she complained all the little ones were falling off - I think they were just overcrowded so we set about nipping out a lot just leaving couples together and the remaining ones are now fattening up quite well. As she nor I have grown pears before. we are not sure of the variety but they may well be Conference - must say I prefer the softer juicy Williams myself - the thought of the texture and juice from one of those really makes my mouth water"

Another disappointing day weatherwise - cloudy with just a peek of the sun once all day and the temperature has been 65 deg F at it's highest! Other Blippers have said it has been really sunny and warm, but there is nothing we can do about it so........!
