It was supposed to rain all day long, so I was clad for it when going for a hack. It never rained, and we were out for just about two hours. 

Stupid shooting noises in the vineyards to scare away the starlings made Willow pretty nervous. It is not often that he shies, and he did shy away from so many things today. 

Because of the shooting, I did not manage to take Djeili on a walk at all today. I drove 20 min to a place where I thought it would not be heard anymore, but I reckon the panic had already settled too deeply. At least she had a pee and a quick poop, then she was back in the car. No luck at all taking her out during the day. In the evening, both Roman and I tried all the tricks and lots of treats have been thrown and fed. No luck at all. 

I really hope that the grape harvest will soon be over. 

And yes, there would be other methods for them to use like putting netting over the grapes, but it seems that terrorizing animals and people alike with lots of shooting seems easier for them.
