Beautiful sky this morning

Setting off back from work this morning I was greeted by a stunning blue sky with sunburnt streaks of cloud and occasional silhouette of aircraft at high altitude.

As common sense dictates, stopping on the M60 motorway to take a picture of said sky is not the done thing on many levels, so it wasn't until popping over to Sainsbury's in Denton that I had the chance and by then the effect had muted quite a lot.

Second best then was walking towards the store entrance whilst totally not attracting any attention* whilst stopping at every lamppost to play around at pointing the camera skywards for an interesting shot.

( * - Mmm there were a few side-eyed bemused glances but not everyone is a blipper lol! )

After that it was home for breakfast, not a lot of peace for an hour so and then much too much sleep. Am now soaking in the bath and wondering how much snooze I will manage tonight...at least the weekend has arrived x
