Hurricane Helene update:
Went over to my daughter’s house on Longboat Key to help move ruined items out of her house to the street and this happened. She was dragging out the dryer in this shot (and trying to add humor to a terrible situation). You can see household items across the street and all the sand. The sand is usually on the beach, not in her house, not on the driveway and not on the street.
Other interior shot is her living room and that’s sand and seaweed on the floor. One of the doors broke off and all the water and sand came in. There was 3 1/2 feet of water inside her house.
Third shot is out the back door this evening.
